Workout: Look Good

Uncategorized

…or rather, look for the good in others.  This week find something positive to say to every person you meet and interact with.  That’s EVERY person, 100% of your interactions looking for the good and the positive in others.

Share your thoughts, problems and/or questions in the comments section.

*thanks to Tom W. for the workout idea.

EVERYONE? Well I tried it for a week and I probably made it to .001%. Well maybe not that bad but it sure feels like it. It’s easy if the person did something to get a positive comment, but trying to look for something good in every person for me is hard. Now that’s not because people are bad, but what reside in my heart is where the rubbish is. For me, trying to look for the good in people is blocked by bad things I remember or fear of people not knowing how to take a complement. To complement a wahine, they think your flirting with them, to complement someone who is not used to receiving a complement think you kissing okole or up to something. So this work out is a challenge to me and I think this will go on my 25 s.m.a.r.t. goals list. Great workout! Mahalo
