Workout: Write and Post Your Definition of a Strong Soul

Workouts

The workout is simple but profound: define, describe, characterize the strong soul. We describe someone who is physically strong by stating how much, how fast, how far that person lifts, runs, or throws. How do you identify a strong soul?  What qualities, characteristics, mindsets, behaviors, attitudes does the fit soul contain?

Deadline: Friday.
Post your definition in the comments.

The definition of a strong soul is one that is content despite the circumstance. Soul fitness is peaceful and has the ability to endure hardship. A fit soul is inspiring without having to use words. A fit soul has the ability to deny immediate wants for the sake of long term health. A fit soul is unselfish but at the same time very aware of self, so it can be denied. A fit soul is thriving not just getting by. The fruits of the spirit are produced year round when you fit.

Leesa put it perfectly, the only thing I would add is, anyone who can do your current workouts plus the one that are yet to come, everyday 100% of the time. I’ve seen the benefits of the workouts this past Monday. I went to Longs Drug store to pick-up my kids meds. When I got there at 3pm it wasn’t ready, it was called in by the Dr. at 12pm they told to return in 45 min. So I returned 45mins later, still wasn’t ready. The second person that helped me was sassy. She then told me to sit and wait when the number shows just come straight to this window no need stand in line. As my number displayed on the screen, God spoke “you can go first or you can be last” So I stood in line, then as I waited in the back of a lady and other customer arrived the three receptionist left the counter and went in the back to do who knows what. Everyone in line started to get nuts, grumbling and cussing, and God spoke again you can join them or you can smile, so I smiled but no one was in the mood of smiling back. Then the lady in front of me went to the counter as called by the counter person, and just started snapping at the counter person and grumbling on our behalf stating “we all.” Then she looked at me and asked why are you smiling, and all I said was I’ve been waiting over an hour and in 5 min’s I’m going home to take care my ohana. Then I thanked her for speaking up for all of us and said something nice (I forgot what I said) looking for the good in people, also complimented the counter person for handling the situation well. I finally understand how a Christian is identified, not one who constantly preaching, or thinks they know the Bible in and out, or the one with all the Jesus paraphernalia and bumper stickers, but one who live his life the way Jesus has set before us. Sorry for this being so long but I just wanted to share. And also want to thank you for these workouts; you never know when you need to put it in practice. Aloha.
