You’ve Just Won the Lottery!

Now what are you going to do?

Imagine that you’ve just won 10 MILLION dollars. Feel good?  Feel happy?  I’ve been thinking about this preparing for an upcoming seminar and am considering it a possible alignment diagnostic tool.  If you did won, unexpectedly, lots and lots of money, what would you do differently than you are doing now?  How would your life change? Would you still work at what you’re doing now, live where you’re living now, etc?

I thought about this question for an entire day trying to figure how would my life and decisions i make be different. I think the only things i would do is pay off my house mortgage for my dad, take care of my animals, and replace the broken and old things in my house. All that came to mind during the day were things that needed to be taken care of but were done without because of money. One thing i do know is i would try not to splurge because i wouldnt want to indulge myself into something so temporary.

So what’s the diagnosis? What do we find when we look at something like this? I think it’s an indicator of alignment and by that I mean it shows whether or not our activities and priorities are moving in the same direction. If there’s major change in your life (i.e., I’m going to move to xyz, quit my job, change this and that) than your life is potentially out of whack. You’re doing what you have to do rather than what you’re called to do. Think about it…
